The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team in implementing sales, marketing and customer strategies, with the objective of achieving overall sales & marketing plan for the assigned territories in India.
In addition to managing the distribution channels in the assigned area, the incumbent will be expected to work across functionally to build strong relationship with key customers, KOLs and institutes of the assigned area.
He / She will also be responsible for people management such as team development / coaching and motivation. Sales management responsibilities such as sales forecasting, budgeting, customer & territorial planning, monitoring and tracking results are also important work processes for this position.

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Life Science or in Management
At least 7 years of sales experience in healthcare industry, out of which minimally 2 years of experience leading effective sales teams in the pharmaceutical market
Possess an extensive network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within the ophthalmology area
