Overview

Elevate is recruiting a Senior System Administrator , who will ensure sound delivery of technical services in our internal teams.

You will provide a mixture of preventative support, project delivery and integration activity around Cisco networks to a Windows Server environment, Citrix XenApp, VMWare and more.

  • Specifically, you will be :

  • Supporting international clients over the phone or email or chat
  • Functioning as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests from end-users
  • Co-ordinating with L2 / L3 teams
  • Appropriately categorizing, prioritizing and escalating incidents and service requests
  • Having knowledge troubleshooting desktop, server, network and application issues. (In additional to enterprise applications, customer have in-house applications)
  • Providing access to new hires and revoking / terminate the access for those who leave the organization
  • Resetting / Unlocking passwords
  • Responsible for Identity and Access management
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Desktop / Laptop Operating System like Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Configuring and troubleshooting of email applications : MS Outlook (2010, 2013 and 2016)
  • Taking remote user machines with the help of IM tools like Jabber and resolve the issues
  • Familiar with ticketing tools
  • Performing troubleshooting on the assigned ticket and resolve the problems within SLA
  • Troubleshooting and resolving basic network issues like LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and VPN issues
  • Responsible for printer, Scanners Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting
  • Responsible for all tasks of Hands and Feet Support
  • Responsible for Documentations : SSR, Handover, SOP, Risk identification, Outage communication to affected stakeholders
  • Creating Modify Folder and Shares
  • Creating / Modifying Home Directory
  • Responsible for additional any other work as and when required
  • Experience :

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Enterprise data networks, hardware, software and telecommunications
  • Experience in Incident Management / Change Management / Problem Management Process.
  • Experience building distributed systems and highly-available services
  • Should be a Technical Expert for Routing and Switching
  • Worked in a complex environment in Tele / Data communications environment
  • Skills for Success :

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Window server 2012 and 2016
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (2010,2013 and 2016)
  • Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices
  • Qualifications :

  • Graduation from an authorized university
  • Pref Certified in Microsoft or Cisco domain
