Reporting to the BD Manager - Business Development Executive will be responsible for playing a key role in New Sales, Lead Generation and follow up, Presentation, Pre-Sales and Sales Closing.

The desired candidate will possess a business development / sales background that enables to engage at all levels of a customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Pitching services and Qualify opportunities to the appropriate level for further development and closure.
  • Prepare RFP s, EOI s and able to understand the scope, profit, risks etc.

  • Develop Proposals as needed
  • Provide response to E-Procurement Bids and Participate in Pre-Bid Meetings.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Preparing reports / trackers for the various activities involved in achieving the sales plan.
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new opportunities.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Place calls, conduct webcam conference calls.
  • Network (e.g. LinkedIn) and strive to convert connections into clients.
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the management.
  • When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include :

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
  • Developing quotes and proposals.
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
  • Flesh out marketing material such as project case studies and developer profiles (CVs) based on prospective clients needs.

    Education and Experience :

  • 1-3 years of business to business (B2B), B2C Sales / Business Development experience in the IT Industry.
  • An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • MBA / BBA degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • Well versed with the use of Office,Sales / CRM Applications.
