Core Duties :

Deployment, Testing, and Support

  • Experience with accounting software, ERP systems and inventory distribution
  • Executes the deployment for custom installs, software updates, upgrades, or merged specialty solutions installs as defined by the Statement of Work (SOWs) document
  • Performs data grabs and restores for test migrations and live migrations
  • Collaborates with Development and Project Management staff to address client change requests as needed
  • Assist clients, partners, or internal resources with application support, training, and customizations
  • o Provide technical support via phone, email, and internet

  • Resolves data issues that surface during go-live phase
  • Research and investigate issues reported by clients and partners as part of a go-live phase or as part of an escalated support incident, which includes :
  • o Performing data analysis to troubleshoot issues and preparing scripts to correct

    o Code analysis to identify errors reported by clients and partners

    o Provide technical support via phone, email, and internet

  • Prepare technical training material related to owned projects
  • Conducts testing to ensure software is functioning as intended
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Training Services team and clients during go live week(s) before transitioning to Support Services
  • Understand requirements to customize software based on functional specifications and documentation
  • Restores databases, prepare a work environment, and writes queries
  • Attends regular meetings with project teams and client
  • Analyze test cases derived from support incident documentation OR requirements gathered from correspondence with clients, partners, and / or business analysts
  • Bridge the Support and Development teams
  • Create and administer product environment for testing and development purposes
  • Review issues submitted to a Problem and Enhancement Tracking system. Monitor status of issues and report updates to clients and partners.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a related role
  • Familiarity with Windows based products including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Team Foundation, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel capabilities
  • Experience writing queries with SQL / T-SQL
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work directly with a client
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Have a willingness to learn
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ability to read and write SQL statements
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems
  • Experience with web (ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript) and mobile development is beneficial but not required
  • Experience with DevExpress beneficial but not required
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus
