About the role :
This role is to be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for the on-board Train Control and Management System through designing,
analyzing, integrating, developing, testing and demonstrating engineering solutions in accordance with stakeholders’ requirements.
Support with train testing when introducing the Train Control and Management System software into the UK projects, in
particular shift work to support the type testing program for the LOTRAIN project. Whilst on train, investigate issues raised and
document findings in the defect database in collaboration with other commissioning engineers.
Investigation of TCMS software issues and documenting defects found in the lab, working with the system engineers and the
project engineer to reproduce test failures and provide further details to the software development teams.
Support with similar activities on the other AVENTRA projects as required.
BSc degree or technical apprenticeship in the systems / software domain.
