Description
Monitor tickets in Service Desk or JIRA and act accordingly
Complete standard tasks that have clearly defined processes and procedures
Lead assigned projects
Self-motivated, able to prioritize work, work alone or in a team. Implementing, managing, and configuring VM Infra solution tools.
Provide support for all supported VM tools (VM-Ware tech set)
Assist users of these tools in development of workplace efficiency
Support and work within the ITIL support structure for Change, Problem and Capacity management
Collaborate closely with other support teams to provide and improve quality of service
Documentation in the form of basic How to documents, designs documentation, performance reporting as well as operational procedures
Communicates with and coordinates activities with Senior Management and other teams
Work on various automation initiatives, which will require good coding skills
Qualifications
Good understanding of VM-Ware tech set
Good knowledge in the areas of deployment, testing, and development of DevOps technologies and tools such as Zabbix, Artifactory, Accurev, Jenkins, Git (knowledge on BitBucket is a plus)
Experience in Administrating of stated tool is a plus
Good Knowledge of Tool for Source Code Management and Build Tools - should know management of Continuous Integration Pipeline by being able to integrate source code management tools such as Git with Build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
Good hold on one of following programming tech - Java or Python
Knowledge of Cloud Service Platforms (preferable google cloud)
Fundamental Linux administration skills (RHEL, SuSE, CentOS)
Good to have understanding of IBM AIX machines
