Vision for the role :
The Software Product Development Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all activities of the development team and manages the design and development of software applications for new products or product enhancements.
Additionally, this position designs solutions and develops code to meet requirements and specifications of applications, and is relied upon to investigate emerging technologies, identifies new product opportunities and establishes parameters for product direction, design, and Provide vision for new product features and develop technical architecture / approach that best suits for scaling and future enhancements
Expertise in gathering and analyzing requirements, define scope, size the effort and perform project management to bring the project to finish line within the defined timelines and budget along with fulfilling stakeholder satisfaction.
Continuous evaluation of the latest technologies that can be adapted for the scalability and improvement of the product.
Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
Plan and direct workflow of team to ensure assignments are allocated appropriately and required deadlines / commitments are met on a consistent basis.
Provide direct reports with proper tools and authority to execute their assigned functions.
Oversee, create and implement modern, functional User and Application Interfaces.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal customer base, vendors, and other internal technical support to provide strong project management services.
Interact with executives and senior management team to present complex concepts with ease and confidence.
Champion the adoption and implementation of Agile or other agreed upon software development and lifecycle methodologies.
Qualification : B.Tech / M. Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science or Systems Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a self-starter developer delivering solutions across the entire stack, strong working knowledge of web technologies, i.
Strong leadership and managerial skills are required to manage, motivate and develop teams.
