Job Description and Requirements We are a team working on producing highly optimized hardware IP for the ARC family of configurable processors.

We are looking for an engineer like you to be part of the team to work on our world-class microprocessors that allow our customers to develop highly optimized and very sophisticated embedded designs.

Our microprocessor IP is delivered with a comprehensive implementation flow which is also configurable and supported by full portfolio of Synopsys memory compilers and standard cell libraries.

For our new family of microprocessor IPs we extend and apply these flows for purposes of qualification, benchmarking and test chip implementation.

In this position , you will be part of an international multi-disciplinary team with many opportunities to assist in customer sales and design-

ins of our IP. There are great opportunities to learn about potential applications of our microprocessor IP's by participating in in-

house test chip designs and development platforms. And you will constantly look for improvement in RTL2GDSII flow to improve our IP's PPA.

Job Requirements : B.S / M.S with 8+ years experience in physical design. Strong understanding in the RTL2GDSII flow including synthesis, place & route, CTS, timing convergence, layout closure.

Expertise on high frequency design methodologies in advanced process technologies. Strong working experience with tools like ICC2, Primetime etc used in RTL2GDSII implementation.

Good communication skills and strong motivation, analytical & problem solving skills. Flexibility to work in a global environment.

Proficiency using Perl and TCL scripting. Knowledge of microprocessor design is a plus.
