This is an individual contributor role that will support HPE’s Planning’s COE organization to help standup any new or enhance any of our existing Global business planning & material management systems & tool & processes including IBP / S4 / MDM System working closely with our stakeholders in key locations across the globe.
This role will be critical in driving the organization to optimize our people’s ability to leverage systems & tool & processes including IBP / S4 / MDM system to deliver improved financial & customer results.
This role will also be key in defining and supporting best practices to support situations where there is compatibility issues systems / tools & processes unable to be fully leveraged.
Support root cause analysis & corrective action between business, HPE IT & external support groups
You will provide support investigating and resolving issues with any of our business planning & material management systems & tool & processes including Integrated Business Planning (IBP) System, SAP Fusion / S4 & MDG.
You will provide training / guidance on the Global business planning & material management systems & tool & processes including IBP System, SAP Fusion / S4 & MDG
You will define, document, and train best practices across the Planning organization & Material management for new or current IBP system / processes, SAP Fusion / S4 & MDG.
You will facilitate assessments of the IBP system knowledge across the Planning & Material Management Organization.
You will provide project management support for implementing continuous improvement initiatives surrounding the IBP system / process, SAP Fusion / S4 & MDG.
You will provide support in defining, documenting, and implementing offline processes and tools where needed.
You will continue education and training related to new Planning & Material management tools & system, including upgrades to existing IBP, SAP Fusion / S4 & MDG.
You will provide thought leadership for continuous improvement opportunities.
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Typically 5+ years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.
g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent..
Knowledge and Skills :
Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business issues.
Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Very strong project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
