Organizational relationships :

The Performance Engineer coordinates and interacts with all members of the R&D team, as well as the Quality Control, Product Management, IT and Quality Assurance teams.

This employee will also interact with and lead third party test vendors.

The Role

The Performance Engineer will performance script Esko products. You will work with various development teams to measure and optimize our packaging solutions for our customers.

As a member of the agile software development team, the Performance Engineer works with others to develop and perform the performance testing required for successful product releases.

  • Development and maintenance of performance scripts
  • Setting up performance monitoring.
  • Maintenance of Testing Environments
  • Analysis on the areas of the system to performance script
  • KPI reporting and baseline analysis
  • Work closely with product teams to understand technology requirements for key projects.
  • Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans.
  • Design and conduct tests with complex workloads and data shapes to expose potential bottlenecks and failure points
  • Analyze performance results to identify system inefficiencies and suggest optimizations to address
  • Analyze metrics and trends to glean opportunities for performance improvements
  • Conduct technical presentations to educate teams on how to improve system performance
  • Devise innovative solutions to improve performance engineering effectiveness
  • Your Education and / or Background Experience should include :

    Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technology field

    Work Experience :

    5-7 years of professional experience in performance engineering and benchmarking

    Experience and well versed in Gatling, JMeter, App Dynamics.

    Strong coding skills (Java, SQL)

    Excellent English, both written and spoken.

    Strong experience in bottleneck analysis, profiling and tracing.

    Strong hands-on experience on system monitoring tools and frameworks.

    Comfortable with Linux, Docker, AWS, and Git

    Good to Have

    Knowledge of Linux (Unix) commands.

    Knowledge of distributed systems.
