About the role
a)Identify problems and incidents in the WAN network and ensure quick resolution of problems and ensure Continuous monitoring of performance of WAN using NMS tools
b) Will be responsible to take on escalations by helpdesks / Network monitoring centers & provide troubleshooting support on WAN related issues (link outages & equipment failures)
c) Proper and thorough documentation of all WAN related changes should be maintained to enable seamless backup support
d) Knowledge and awareness of ISO standards and industrial best practices.
e)Practice & maintain good vendor / customer relationship to ensure quality service is delivered as per the service agreements.
f)Attend to the customer issues as per SLA. Maintain good MTTR as per SLA
g) Understanding on LAN / WAN technology.installing and managing routers & switches. Undestanding and knowlege of OSPF, BGP, HSRP etc
h)Knowledge and working experience on various network management / monitoring tools, work experience of Ticketing tools.
i) Good approach to take new initiatives
Certification : - CCNA,,
Good communication skills, Exposure to LAN / WAN environment and network monitoring tool, , Expert in handling network devices like router & modems,
