Responsible for the technical management and manufacturing readiness of hard disk and solid state drives under the software stack of the Dell-
EMC storage and server O / S. Assignments include full supplier management, firmware qualification, and steady state regression testing.
Responsible to define and document requirements, manage the supplier activity, develop and execute a comprehensive firmware qualification plan that includes elements of software characterization testing, hardware characterization testing, and test tool development utilizing programming skills.
Establishes systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall hard drive or Solid State drive quality. Responsible for System Integration testing, debugging and troubleshooting of firmware bugs and issues by analyzing extensive drive and system traces and logs and become protocol trace analysis experts in the areas of SAS / S-
ATA and NVMe interfaces.
