MAIN DUTIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following : The primary purpose for the full-time in-house position of the Telugu Language Manager is to ensure consistent premium quality deliverables in order to maintain client satisfaction.
Deliverables include translations, glossaries and other translation projects. This person will be a full-time with a consistent workload contributing to our production of specific language translations annually.
Major responsibilities will include : Translating technical translations from Telugu language into English.Maintaining a basic understanding of translation filing requirements, as well as client specific requirements.
Operating with a medium level of support and intervention from the Project Management and Quality team including recognizing and escalating, in a timely manner, any issues beyond their control.
Creating and maintaining glossaries and style guides.Completing special projects and miscellaneous assignments as assigned.
Working as part of a larger, global team.Additional Job DescriptionExperience & Education Level Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in languages, translation and / or interpretation.
Native-level Telugu speaker, fluency in 1-2 other languages (English).Prior ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of translation experience, marketing and creative strongly preferredPrevious experience editing and / or proofreading Other relevant skillsReasoning Ability : Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
Above average attention to detail. Other : Strong computer skills. Strong time-management skills. This is a full-time, in-house position.
