Primary Purpose and Overall Objective ofthe Job
Overall ownership of Industrybusiness for India and other SAARC countries. Creating and achieving year onyear sales budget (sales and CEBIT) while effectively developing the Industryteam to meet market challenges.
Developing and consolidating the bioMérieuxbrand as a partner of choice in pharma and food markets.
Manage pricing, conditions of sale, expenses and DSO with rigor in achallenging market.
Develop the team with special focus on keymanagers to ensure that they are capable of facing and meeting market andregulatory challenges.
Optimize the bioMérieux India Industry organization foreffectiveness in achievement of objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with KeyOpinions Leaders in Industry and manage large Key Accounts.
Keep strong understanding of microbial controlin food and pharma industries, sterility testing, US FDA regulationsapplication to Indian pharma, 21 CFR Part 211, ISO 9002 : 2015, knowledge of USPharmacopeia and implications on Indian pharma industry.
Demonstrate leadership traits talent recruitment,driving productivity and performance, people coaching and development, managingconflict.
Agile in a rapidly changing environment, being activein proposing adjustments of processes, tools, organizations and policies.
Qualification and Experience :
Master of Science / Ph.D. with thorough competencein business management. MBA will be an added qualification although notmandatory.
10 years of commercial experience, heading a unit / organization business engaged in microbial control testing, preferably forpharmaceutical applications.
