Our highly technical and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape.

What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

The candidate is part of the team responsible for implementation and rollout of Supply Chain applications related to the Planning business process for the Asia Pacific region.

The candidate should have good experience in the APO modules of DP and / or SNP in SAP, and will be encouraged to be open to learn modules in connected processes.

The person will be required to proactively collaborate with business teams, technical teams and IT counterparts.

Who are you

1. You are a functional expert :

  • Be part of project implementation & roll out teams and take ownership of specific functional areas. This involves business analysis, design, development and testing for assigned functions.
  • Participate in project meetings with various business stakeholders and lead some of those meetings
  • Keep the project manager and stakeholders updated on the status of assignments
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement and simplification opportunities
  • Track and ensure system utilization
  • Maintain standards of system performance & reliability by following governance procedures
  • Manage small and medium projects
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Provide recommendations on system design
  • Develop project documentation
  • Adhere to Global standards (governance, project steps & documentation)
  • 2. You are a collaborator :

  • Ability to independently connect with business to understand the requirement and recommend a suitable solution
  • What you’ll need (Required)

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in APO planning modules in SAP
  • In depth knowledge of one or more APO modules of DP, SNP and PP / S plus awareness of the integration with ECC
  • Business process knowledge in Supply Chain
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause
  • Demonstrable understanding of different technologies
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies
  • What you’ll need (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of EDI and ABAP will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of other Supply Chain processes and SAP Supply Chain modules
  • Project management experience
