Position Summary :

In this position, the analyst will analyze the internal processes within PSO and GT Nexus and devise tools to automate the repetitive processes.

This includes tools for project audits, timesheet compliance, forecasting accuracy, project metrics, revenue projections, etc.

The Analyst will work senior leadership, understand the needs for reports and automation, build the right reports / tools and communicate effectively with leadership members.

Qualified candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Building reports and dashboards in Excel / Access
  • Building automations / tools using Excel / VBA macros / Access
  • Timely generation of reports (certain daily reports during month end, weekly, monthly)
  • Follow ups on compliance issues and resolution of discrepancies (Ex : Timesheet entries, late forecasts, late approvals, etc)
  • Ability to manage expectations of GT Nexus leadership members
  • Timely escalation of issues that needs attention by management (both on Customer and GT Nexus side)
  • Timely reminders to stakeholders on their deliverables
  • Proactive thoughts on opportunities for automation / improvement
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Graduate degree (BSc, BCom, BBA, etc)
  • 2+ years of qualified experience
  • REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.English language a must
  • Strong Excel skills including Pivots, functions, Charts, macros
  • VBA macro skills
  • Basic skills in MS Access
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Comfortable working online using collaborative web technologies such as Wiki, etc
  • Experience in basic SQL, a plus
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues
  • Flexibility to work late / early hours depending on customer’s geographic location
  • Structured and organized
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Company issued computer is provided
  • Internet Service at home is a must; company will provide a VPN access
