The QA Manager Engineering will be responsible for software testing tasks, managing the planning and execution of test efforts, defines and implements test automation strategy, communicates on status, issues, objectives and initiatives, leads a team of Software QA Engineers, including performance reviews and career development activities.
Strives to continually learn and understand latest software testing methodologies and tools to ensure a high level of expertise.

Responsible for the establishment of effective test plans and scripts

High exposure on testing methodologies and patterns
Should have been experienced in multiple formats Functional, Performance & Security to help and guide team on test strategies to be applied according to the requirement.
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of QA standards and procedures
Participate in product design meetings, release planning and scheduling
Provide regular status reporting on projects to Product Managers, Software Development Managers and Operations Management
Perform other / additional duties and projects that may be periodically assigned.

Escalate departmental issues with other managers and ensure handover
Encourage good client / hub relationships

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
10+ years of industry experience, including 3 years as a QA manager / lead role
Significant Quality Assurance experience in a lead role
Understanding of structured testing and software development, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent problem solving, analytical and time-management skills
Solid project management skills
Experience in managing and working with distributed quality teams in a matrixes environment
Fundamental understanding of operating systems, databases, and the use of technology to satisfy business needs.
Proven track record of driving on time quality delivery of complex releases to the customer through direct and partner teams
Strong organizational skills, ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results
Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
