Amazon is looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships for Amazon.in within the Banking eco-

system in India. This individual will be our ambassador with the external Banking ecosystem and will be responsible for constructing and executing strategically important programs with key Bank partners.

S / he will have a direct and visible impact on the long-term success of various business across Amazon.in.

This role has direct exposure to senior leaders in Amazon and in the Indian Banking eco-system and requires highly developed thought-

leadership, great analytical skills, relationship management and strategic negotiation skills. This is an individual contributor role based in Bangalore, and reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Amazon Pay.

  • 5-10 years of experience in partner- management, business development preferably in India. Demonstrated ability to drive partnerships and to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Ability to independently manage complex contract negotiations, based on extensive data / analysis, working with senior executives inside and outside of Amazon.
  • Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions.
  • Analytical skills and an ability to manage a program by the numbers . Must be metrics-driven.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • MBA is required.
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
  • Ability to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations or problems.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong background (5-10 years) in financial services, e-commerce.
