    Process Overview*

    Operational Excellence is a function that is responsible to lead and execute change across the organization.

    The role will be part of the program management team engaged in the deployment of multi-year enterprise operational excellence (EOE) program at GDCE.

    Job Description with Responsibilities

    The incumbent will liaise with GDCE India management as well as OPEX Leadership, to help manage timely and impactful OE messaging across management and employee levels.

    Work closely with the senior program leadership to deliver effective internal employee communications to ensure employees are fully informed about and engaged with the program’s strategy, objectives and progress.

    Via a range of communications projects and activities, the individual will support the achievement of group objectives and create shared understanding and commitment to organizational change among employees.

    Responsibilities

  • Drive change via communication : Play a crucial role in both inculcating a vibrant culture of operational excellence across all GDCE teams
  • To develop and implement communication campaigns which support key program / strategic objectives and the people strategy / and organizational change strategy.
  • Building the awareness and engagement on leveraging frame-works and training resources
  • Build Management level presentations and high end analytics
  • Coordinating with senior program leaders, internal stakeholder groups and business units to develop the activity calendar for the year and ensure delivery as per the plan.
  • Identify pockets of information source and create mediums to make information widely available
  • Design and create communication collaterals (Posters, PowerPoint presentations, Newsletter etc.).
  • Be responsible for the technology tools for communication (Intranet, Website and Share-point Site).
  • Incumbent is also expected to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and execute priorities along with necessary governance and communication routines.

    Strategic Initiatives : Participate in strategic initiatives of the OPEX / GDCE basis skills and business need

    Essential Skills

  • Education - Post Graduate : English, Communications / MBA Marketing or Strategy or Branding / Mass Communication / Journalism from premium institutes will be preferred.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Off Shoring industry
  • Very strong management level PowerPoint skills
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills. To be able to write in good and clear English.
  • Good business acumen : ability to converse in business language / strong executive presence
  • Ability to map to leadership thought and translate into clear actionable / ability to covert a nebulous concept into a high impact initiative plan
  • Creative thought process to be able to think out of the box and logically connect the dots with underlying business drivers ability to balance practical application with creative thought
  • Dynamic individual with high energy and change mind-set
  • Ability to flex / stretch / multi-task given time-critical business needs
  • Proficient in usage of Technology Tools (MS PowerPoint / Excel / Word, Designing Tools like Front Page / Photo Shop)
