We are currently hiring for an Area Sales Manager to focus on the continued growth and expansion of India Market. The ASM will develop and implement strategies to capture / expand sales according to organization’s short and long-
range goals and objectives and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Meet / Exceed assigned quarterly and yearly regional sales target for the assigned product portfolio
To increase revenue and margin level for each representative and distribution
Prepare and respond to customer quotes
Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
Recommends product modifications and standardizations to eliminate unprofitable items
Anticipate and analyze customer (current and future trends) needs, industry market segment trends
Execute market and segment growth strategy
Identify new markets
Conduct territory data analysis
Implement project and opportunity forecasting
Launch new products in the territory
Provide competitive intelligence
Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions
Provide customer and channel relationship management
Qualifications and Experience :
Education & Experience :
Four-year degree or technical school and / or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience within market segment / industry
Selling experience in B2B environment
Additional work-related coursework or certification a plus.
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies :
Excellent oral, written, verbal interpersonal and presentation communication skills in national language and English language
Solid working knowledge of assigned market segment / industry; Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products, solid presentation skills including the ability to explain complex technologies and product features
Travel Requirements : The role will require frequent travel.
