KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
The key purpose of this role is to ensure timely deployment of AMI projects and seamless operations, provide Business Development support during AMI pilots, demos or new RFP’s.
Key Responsibilities include planning, finalizing and executing projects within time and budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating with external and internal stakeholders including regional & overseas colleagues & SMEs.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely deployment of AMI Projects which include Field deployment of commercial AMI Roll-outs, System installation & integration, deployment of DA, Risk management, Schedule management as well as Vendor Management
Conduct site surveys accurately
Ensure right RF Infra is being established for all projects
Finalization of sites for Network Device Installation
Installation of proposed network for achieving target SLAs for the AMI Project(s) and sign-off with customers
Providing meter issue resolution
Work to reduce Installation Cost and streamline field deployment;Ease trouble shooting of RF devices;Increase efficiency for IT Infra Installation and Monitoring;
Support Procurement Process
Ensuring Network Installation, IT set up & HES Installation, MDM Integration, Meter Delivery, Project support & Contract closure
Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers
Define project scope, goals and deliverables (including project timelines and milestones) that support business goals by collaborating with all relevant stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans including budgetory provisions and associated communications documents
Direct and manage end-to-end project planning and execution
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
Liaise with project stakeholders ( External and Internal) on an ongoing basis
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and crises and devise contingency plans
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
