The Manufacturing and Test Engineering Team within CCG is responsible for building Reference Validation Platforms, Advanced Enabling Platforms, and laptop computers.
These boards and systems are used by Intel design teams for hardware and software development, and by our partners to speed development of their own designs.
The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing test for printed circuit board assemblies and systems.
Reviews product specifications, features, and designs. Designs, develops, and deploys test solutions in the factory. Responsible for in-circuit test, functional test, device programming, test plan, capacity planning, risk assessment, and risk mitigation plan.
Specifies and documents test requirements, test setup, test software, and factory requirements. Provides training as needed to factory personnel.
Monitors yield, failure, and retest issues during builds, and works with the factory to quickly resolve. Responds to customer and client requests and events as they occur.
Assists design teams with power on activities in the factory, and helps the factory prepare beforehand. Will require frequent travel within India.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Previous laboratory test or manufacturing test experience with laptops, desktop computers, or consumer electronics.
