Amazon Food is seeking an analytical, creative and highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to drive marketing initiatives for food ordering on Amazon.

This candidate will get a unique opportunity to work on the marketing charter and shape the foundations of a hyperlocal high frequency business on A.

in. The role has 3 main pillars : growth marketing, marketing analytics, and customer acquisition & retention

The successful candidate for this high impact role should be a self-starter with a passion for independent thinking, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership and commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects, and bring relevant insights in growth marketing.

S / he will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and independently, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the complete picture.

This person will be able to effectively work within a small team, while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done no detail will be too small and they'll never say "that's not my job".

They’ll obsess over details, display structured thought process in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results.

S / he will have a proven track record of influencing and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve their goals.

Key Job responsibilities include-

1. Working on in-depth customer journey and lifecycle analysis

2. Creation of marketing programs (like coupon programs), and multiple key traffic drivers, to acquire new customers and retain existing customers

3. Own all key traffic drivers for the category, and work as a category advocate with central traffic teams.

4. Work with cross functional teams and internal teams, including technology teams, to define, drive, and launch improvements to the shopping experience

5. Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing experiments / programs to drive customer acquisition and retention

6. Conduct in-depth analyses to determine experiment / program effectiveness and to continuously improving programs and site initiatives


  • MBA from Tier 1 B-school with minimum 6-7 years of marketing experience with 2+ years of experience in growth marketing
  • Demonstrated ability of strategic problem solving and creating / building something from scratch
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results

  • Past experience of scaling a service / product in the e-commerce space
  • Past experience in digital marketing (paid search, paid display, SEO, content, paid social)
  • Past experience in food tech of f&b industry
