Job Description SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Must to have hands-on experience in MS SQL Server / Oracle (1-2Years )
  • Good Knowledge of SQL DML and query writing.
  • Good understanding of Query optimization.
  • Good Understanding of Apps pool configurations
  • Good Understanding of Deployment / Release
  • Basic understanding of applications running in Windows environments such as 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Familiar with incident and change management processes along with the usage of any such tool(preferable iSupport, CA Service Desk)
  • Certified ITIL Foundation (Preferable)
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in offshore-onsite delivery teams
  • Excellent analytical and effective communication skills
  • Fast learner, quality conscious and committed to deadlines

  • Perform routine tasks within both Windows Server and Application systems : not limited to monitoring of backup jobs; archiving of logs, etc.
  • Administration of web-based systems is required (install, configure and administrate).
  • Work with clients, Support Leads and Operations Manager on application requests, Issues and enhancements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regularly on the progress and status of outstanding trouble tickets
  • Ability to work in a team located in various geographic locations
  • Conformances of processes (end-user support and operation) during the course of work
  • Able to collate, review and analyze support tickets metrics and providing weekly SLA reporting
  • Experience in at least one end-user ticket management system.
  • Experience / good knowledge of change management process.
  • Candidate is expected to work in shifts on a rotational basis including night shifts.
  • Participates in improvising the processes and assigned applications / projects
  • Stay up to date with industry-standard best practices / techniques related to Maintenance and Support.
  • Availability for meetings, on-call support, off-hours support work (including weekends) as required
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate off-hours conference calls
