Function Description :
American Express is looking for energetic, high-performing and highly skilled Engineers to help shape our technology and product roadmap.
You will be part of the fast-paced, entrepreneurial Enterprise focused on delivering the next generation data engineering solutions.
The team will be responsible for experience for our Card members by delivering world-class innovative solutions leveraging best in class Machine Learning techniques, processing TBs of data, to provide highly personalized card member experience and to drive profitable growth for the organization.

Build intuitive interfaces, infographics, and visualizations to tell stories with data and optimize decision making
Lead design efforts to build intuitive and actionable data-driven products which help the stakeholders in taking impactful decisions
Collaborate with data engineering & science functions to build, test, and deploy technical frameworks for various models

Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and :
Ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in full stack Java development, HTML and over 1 + year experience in React JS
Experience working on Hadoop distribution, such as Mapr, HBase in Hive is plus
Work experience with Python or shell scripting would be preferred
leveraging the data available on the Big Data Platform
Ability to prototype and transform ideas into polished products
Experience in building web / mobile interfaces for displaying interactive visual insights
Experience in developing customized interactive reports, dashboards and workbook using multiple data sources.
Must be proficient with general RDBMS skills
Familiarity with Hadoop and / or Cloud Platforms would be a plus
Good understanding of database and Excel
