You will work in the field of managing BCG’s proprietary data assets and tools, targeted toward Financial Institutions clients.

You will need to be strong in dealing with large volume of external and client data, data cleansing, and manipulation. And bring in exposure to quantitative modelling, statistics, and programming.

Prior experience in the space of climate risk modelling, climate scenarios, transition risk, and knowledge of PACTA, climate scenarios, etc. will be a big plus.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team comprising data scientists, data engineers, consulting teams, as well as industry experts, and support in developing and delivering the analysis to the financial institutions clients.

You will be working under supervision in further development and enhancement efforts of the existing tools, as well as the creation of new offerings.

Additional tasks involve the development of internal methodology and processes that requires a strong inclination towards technology, exploring the art of the possible while leveraging data science capabilities, and ability to work with different big data and analytical tools.

  • Master’s degree with demonstrated high academic achievement, preferably in quantitative sciences (e.g., mathematics, statistics, or engineering), other data / analytical centric disciplines, or business administration (with a focus in finance or economics and relevant exposure to quantitative analytics).
  • Proven research and quantitative analytics capabilities while working on complex analytical models, software solutions, large scale databases, diagnostic tools, etc.
  • Knowledge / experience of 2 to 4 years in the financial institution industry
  • Good to have : knowledge / experience of 2 to 4 years in the field of climate risk modelling, sustainable finance, NetZero transition pathways, climate scenarios (IEA, NGFS, etc.
  • Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs), etc.

  • Technical skills :

  • Strong command of MS Office suite, esp. Advanced Excel / macros, and PowerPoint
  • Data management and analysis : PostGRESql, Snowflake, DataRobot, Alteryx, DataIKU
  • Knowledge of statistics (regression, ANOVA, t-tests, etc.)
  • Visualisation tools like Tableau
  • Exposure to programming in Python
  • Experience using Github will be a plus

  • Peers across Financial Institutions data assets to execute and deliver the findings to the clients and consulting teams
  • Senior counterparts for directions, best practices, and overall guidance
  • BCG consulting teams and clients to discuss insights & offer ongoing access to data & analysis for consulting projects
