Position Summary :
work to debug and implement new changes to systems as they are prioritized. He / she must have good inter-personal, oral and written communication skills and have strong problem solving skills with an aptitude for learning.
Essential Job Functions :
Analyze and repair reported software problems
Facilitate a high level of technical communication with the Customer Service group
Implement new features and modifications
Required Skills :
Unix (Linux) environment knowledge and experience.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and development experience in Informix or similar enterprise database.
Familiar with build tools like Maven and MakeFile
Experience with advanced Unix programming in Java
Preferred Skills :
Perl and shell scripting experience
Experience with C++, AJAX, and JQuery or related technology
SOAP and REST services understood and experience
Familiarity with XML, JSON, XSD and XPath a plus
Expertise in a testing framework such as : JUnit and Selenium a plus
Education and Experience :
4-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent
