JOB DESCRIPTION / MAIN PURPOSE : The successful candidate is responsible for the executing and managing the support activities for business systems.
This position reports to the Line Manager but works closely with other support and development team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Providing business applications Support (L1 & L2)
Delivering support to existing customer users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries
Manage support team on timely closure of the support queue
Owing the support requests to resolution and / or escalations to relevant team until satisfactory closure
Assist L3 Support team by re-creating support issues and validating the resolution outcome
Gathering monitoring information & Problem solving and diagnosing system issues
Working with the IT function and internal customers in identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements and development
Identify performance trends. Take corrective action to improve performance and to avoid problems arising
Document and present results, take part in user meetings and assist in presenting issues and solutions
Define acceptance tests for new or changed functionality
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 4-6 years of Application support experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college / university, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or related work experience
Relevant Business Systems knowledge and support experience in the Facility and Lease management industry is a plus
Possess continuous learning attitude towards new technology and work process
