Position Purpose :

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework is being introduced to ensure that Novartis is conducting business with third parties who align to Novartis’ ethical standards.

This is achieved by a robust, proportionate and proactive process to qualify and manage third parties, by which Novartis protects their business and their patients.

The TPRM Service Manager facilitates the end-to-end process including escalations, and provides the risk dashboards and administrative support to the overall TPRM Operating Model.

The TPRM Central Service Team Manager oversees team member in terms of monitoring their work outputs and timeliness of delivery.

The TPRM Central Service Team Manager reports directly to the TPRM Service Delivery Lead.

Major Accountabilities :

  • Lead the execution of TPRM program activities to oversee, monitor, assess, and report on third-party risk delivery Lead
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Risk Areas and the impacts of such risk to the business
  • Responsible for meeting operation metrics of TPRM process for Risk areas
  • Understand the TPRM end-to-end process and attend risk specific TPRM process trainings
  • Understand cause of overdue actions and escalate to appropriate people to help resolve issues
  • Develop periodic reporting on third-party management risk-based metrics and effectiveness of third-party management practices and controls including program status
  • Facilitate quarterly third-party risk oversight meetings with business partners and third-party management stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues in other risk and control functions including Business Risk Expert, Business Users
  • Support ongoing development, updating and refinement of the Third-Party Risk Management policy, procedures and related process
  • Ensure timely completion of special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure the quality of work performed by team members is adequate and aligned with the requirements set out by the TPRM Centre of Excellence
  • Minimum requirements University Degree / MBA from tier-1 B-School strongly preferred Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related area of study Fluent English

  • Overall 8-12 years of experience in an MNC organization primarily in the areas third-party management, enterprise / operational risk management, audit, governance / oversight, or similar role
