ServiceNow is transforming the world of work via our digital workflows and enterprise cloud platform and we are looking for a Product Manager to join our Emerging Products team responsible for defining and executing ServiceNow’s strategy for IoT.

As part of this effort, ServiceNow is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Connected Operations team and help us define and build the future of ServiceNow’s IoT products.

Successful candidates will bring a growth mindset, great interpersonal skills, and strong technical background to back it up.

What you get to do in this role

  • Work with product management, engineering, and design teams to formulate requirements for our IoT and Connected Operations product.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute a cross-team strategy to integrate new IoT solutions with ServiceNow’s Customer Service Management and Field Service Management offerings to solve customer’s problems.
  • Identification of market problems and opportunity sizing to support new product development business case development and product roadmap development
  • Define and prioritize a backlog of work including the creation of epics and user stories, and be data-driven in prioritizing features and quality improvements
  • Work closely with engineering teams to validate requirements execution
  • Be the voice of the customer when evaluating day-to-day development decisions
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to produce go-to-market materials
  • Work with User Learning (help files and documentation), Training, and Support and Professional Services to assure smooth uptake of new releases
  • Requirements

  • Can do’ attitude and sense of ownership to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented; able to work autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
  • BA / BS degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of product management or relevant experience
  • Experience leading scrum teams
  • Subscribes to evidence based outside in’ product management
  • Great communication skills, listens carefully and expresses ideas clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and adept at navigating unknown territory; is persistent through adversity
