About the Role :

We’re looking for a talented recruiter to join our Bangalore Team to enable us build and scale JCPenney. You will partner with hiring managers to build the teams across various functions.

You will own the hiring strategy for the teams you support and hustle to hire the brightest minds around. You will also work on strategic projects to improve how we attract and recruit the best talent across India, because we know that there’s always a better way!

Responsibilities :

  • Manage full cycle recruitment process including strategy, candidate identification / management, sourcing, client management, offers, background checks, professional references.
  • Develop and maintain a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates; create and implement new and unique candidate generation strategies for both passive and active candidates;
  • leverage utilize current and innovative sourcing methods including social networking, Internet sites, employee referrals, alumni groups, ads.

  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting tools and technology
  • Utilize a variety of interviewing techniques and educate hiring managers; ensure receipt of prompt and comprehensive, fact-based interview feedback
  • Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations and internal processes, policies and procedures
  • Contribute to global recruiting team initiatives
  • Influence hiring managers and HR business partners in making optimal selection decisions balancing the short and long-term needs of the business
  • Looks for opportunities to remove obstacles and implement complex and unique recruiting approaches
  • Develops new candidate sources, including networks, referrals, and outreach programs. Mines web for passive candidates.
  • Screens candidates to develop a "short list" of top qualified candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques and other methods / tools.
  • Makes offers to candidates following internal policies and practices.

  • Proactively consults with all levels of management regarding staffing strategy and requirements. Anticipates hiring needs and supports the development of strategic workforce plans.
  • Initiates and maintains communications.

  • Negotiates service level agreements with clients; delivers service to meet or exceed those agreements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruiting and selection processes resulting in a strong candidate experience.
  • Utilize best practices; generate or revise methodologies related to process, tools, strategy as appropriate
  • Foster relationships and ongoing communication with key constituents, including hiring managers, HR business partners.
  • Attends job fairs and campus recruiting events, acting as an ambassador for JCPENNEY

  • Graduate + MBA HR degree (mandatory)
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the TA field
  • Planning and implementation of strategic business goals

  • Normal office working conditions, with stretched timelines as necessary
