This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base. Purpose We are currently looking for a strong project manager to track the various regional digital projects for the department of Digital, Data & Platforms within Transaction banking.

The role is at Associate Director Level and based in Bangalore. Strategic digital initiatives / projects in Transaction Banking, creates differentiated digital capabilities for clients to access the Bank's transactional services in over 50 markets efficiently and securely.

This includes internet and mobile banking for global business clients, direct integration options, as well as services through third parties.

The role will be supporting the regional DDP teams with tracking the various digital initiatives / projects across the regions.

Proven track records in building cutting-edge project tracking tools and methodologies

  • The role requires close partnership with the TB (Transaction Banking) organisation.
  • Working with development teams to track timely delivery of planned functionalities.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to solve business problems by proposing relevant, innovative solutions. Translating and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • The applicant should have some experience in both PM and BA roles to deliver functional consistency across the projects by influencing technology design decisions

  • Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders
  • Take ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
  • Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc.
  • Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Work closely with business users, other project and programme managers and technology stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged and expectations managed
  • Delivery focused, committing to specific tasks and ensuring these and the overall projects deadlines are met.
  • This role reports to the Program & Channel strategy Manager for DDP.
  • Key Accountabilities

  • Built and manage advance project tracking solutions that cover projects in over 40 countries
  • Communicate on daily basis with teams in HK, Dubai, London and Singapore on project updates and issues & risks
  • Manager will be based in Singapore and experience with an onshore / offshore model is required
  • Responsible for project deliverables, with emphasis on quality, efficiency and consistency
  • Manage and plan resources needed for user requirement, development, testing and user training.
  • Monitoring project status reporting for all projects assigned
  • Ensure the project finance is aligned with allocated budget.
  • Analyse project financial performance and report’s findings or trends.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Certified Project Manager, either CITPM or PMP, with 5-8 years of experience in managing IT projects and software / application development lifecycles, Scrum Certified.
  • The candidate has strong project management experience, preferably in an onshore / offshore setting from leading companies in this field (e.
  • g. Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte etc)

  • Strong delivery management experience, with proven track records in managing and steering projects towards smooth execution and on time delivery.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with passion for making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in use of project management and collaboration tools is required (E.g. Microsoft Project, Confluence, Jira Software, Kanban Boards, etc.)
  • Knowledge of technology, tools and process related to data governance, master data management and data lineage is required
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, effective in fostering teamwork and managing high performance project team.
  • A working understanding of Cloud computing, Data Science, and / or Machine Learning.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience and training in agile development methodology is essential.
