In this role, you’ll be responsible for partnering with clients to manage the close of the annual operating plan and resolve any customer queries.

You’ll be providing high quality reporting related to the treasury function with a focus on identifying trends, risks and opportunities and will be required to communicate these to senior finance staff.

You’ll have an in-depth understanding of the business and be required to make strategic recommendations to improve processes and increase efficiencies, as well as discuss changes to existing reports and KPIs to improve the value generated from reporting activities.

You’ll also be involved in budgeting and forecasting for the treasury division including driving key discussions with senior stakeholders.

You’ll provide financial summaries and reporting on various aspects of the profit and loss statement and information for regulatory and statutory requirements.

You’ll be required to liaise with auditors (both internal and external) and ensure the implementation of technology solutions in your team.

You’ll effectively manage and mentor a high performing team and provide support with deliverables, as well as assessing performance, providing feedback and career path guidance.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a professional accounting or finance qualification with a strong academic record in financial planning and analysis, as well as 10-11 years of relevant post qualification experience in financial accounting and statutory reporting in a service industry environment.

You’ll demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well a deep understanding of accounting concepts including interest rate derivatives, hedge accounting and accounting implications.

You’ll have a strong customer service ethic, proactively understand client requirements and have the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

You’ll demonstrate a deep understanding of technology enablement solutions like RPA, Alteryx, Power BI, TM1 and have the ability to implement new technologies for automation and operational excellence.

You’ll also demonstrate the ability to work in a virtual global team, manage cross-border relationships and be willing to travel internationally as required.

Exposure to IFRS will be considered favourably.
