  • Reporting to Director Manager's Manager Board of Directors Direct reports 5-8 Job Purpose The job purpose of this role is to be responsible for P & L management, customer relationship, strategizing, branding and positioning of the Hotel;
  • providing leadership and setting targets in line with the company's visions and mission ensuring the long term business goals are achieved.

  • Principle Accountability Budgeting (planning & administration) and setting policies & procedures Forecasting financial operating budgets for the hotel and ensure the set operating budgets are met;
  • Maximizing EBITDA through a deliberate process of increasing all potential income sources, while controlling expenses; Lead the Hotel team via strategizing and executing sound strategies towards achieving set financial targets Ensure the SOPs are in place and the guidelines adhere;
  • Ensuring the reporting and escalation matrix are in place and are adhered to; Revenue Management, Branding & Positioning and Customer Relationship Management Responsible for P&L management;
  • Strategizing and driving annual marketing plans through the marketing team to increase the revenue impact and brand visibility;
  • Oversee the marketing through advertising, promotions, website, visual merchandising, magazine, newsletter in order to enhance the branding and positioning of the brand;
  • Devise and oversee the execution of the marketing strategies to counter competition and attract customers with unique value propositions;
  • Oversee various CSR initiatives; Focus on constant customer satisfaction & driving initiatives on improving the standards of operations;
  • Attending & resolving customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality; Create and maintain relationships with key revenue producing customers;
  • Uses customer feedback to activate long-term improvements in products and services; Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment Ensure timely upkeep;
  • Ensure compliance in terms of Safety and hygiene front for both internal and external customers. Team Management Lead and manage the internal cross-functional teams effectively;
  • Hire, supervise, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for employees in the units including key Heads of Departments;
  • Follow an open door policy to encourage two ways communication process; Ensure timely feedback to enable work excellence;
  • MIS, Reporting Budget planning and impact analysis for management review Monthly / quarterly presentation to the management on overall management;
  • Team Management Ensure effective execution of the team members KRAs / KPIs; Provide timely resolution / guidance when required;
  • Team and Self-Development Ensure timely updation of the required skills; Attending relevant forums / seminar for market updates / intelligence;
