General Job Description

  • Work as a lead for Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) in Quality Department. Ensure all suppliers and material are align with the requirements and compliance with all the standards.
  • Role and responsibilities

    Responsible for Supplier Quality as per Product requirements.

    To provide Product quality requirements to the supplier and work with supplier to meet the product Quality standards.

    To provide technical support to the supplier to meet Quality requirements. Work with Engineering team to define require critical to Quality standards.

    Visit to the suppliers for Quality enhancement and to improve the rejections.

    Responsible for Lot Acceptance Ratio (LAR) and drive the corrective and preventative actions to improve the LAR.

    To work with Engineering team to provide require technical support to supplier to meet Product Quality Standards and CTQ’s.

    To work with Purchase / sourcing team to develop new suppliers and do periodic supplier audits. Work with Purchase team for supplier ranking and adding supplier into AVL.

    To ensure all suppliers are compiled as per ISO and AS procedures and documentation.

    To work with Incoming Quality team and Production team to improve supplier rejection.

    To publish weekly / monthly supplier quality performance reports and action plans for improvements.
