We are seeking an innovative, forward thinking Scrum Master to advance and implement key strategies in support of our vision.

    This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground level and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Global Services India (KGSI) over the next several years.

    Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees

    The Scrum Master will bring passion for driving continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness for the expansion of the organization in Bangalore, India.

    The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker.

    Working effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial for success.

    A Day in The Life Could Include :

  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Conduct and coordinate the various Scrum events like daily stand-ups, sprint review, planning, Demo, and retrospective meetings etc.
  • Manage Sprint goal to lead overall project’s scope.
  • Facilitate to resolve the obstacles / dependencies occur during implementation.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, story splitting, estimation to make ready for the next / upcoming Sprints
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Facilitate internal and external communication and effective collaboration with transparency
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Create Roadmap, milestones, and target dates for projects and communicate to customer for alignment
  • What You Will Need To Bring With You :

    experience & education required)

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ yrs Exp in scrum master role with implementing the scrum process (Agile methodology) in the Software teams
  • Good knowledge of an Agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
