Shape and drive research programs in collaboration with clinical partners. Drive the clinical product development of applications and solutions in the cardiovascular domain.
You are responsible for
Driving clinical innovation strategy for the cardiovascular domain
Developing and executing the cardiovascular clinical innovation roadmap
Managing a team of clinical scientists and responsible for the execution of exploratory clinical research, support evidence creation and claims substantiation
Managing a team of product owners and responsible for leading clinical development of applications and solutions in the cardiovascular domain
Cooperating with relevant parties inside and outside of the department. Works across the borders of the own team e.g. formulating strategies or project proposals across organizational borders, cooperating with team leaders, project leaders, programs and the business.
Establishing a network with relevant players; scientific relations outside of the team and with the business - on all topics, and actively using this network to obtain input on technological developments, identifying trends and opportunities.
Managing the capabilities of the team, to develop and maintain a long-term view on the required competences and knowledge to support the creation of evidence.
Ensuring that there are adequate resources and tools at the proper time and is responsible for maintaining and improving the team’s knowledge and expertise.
Ensuring an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the team by motivating, challenging, and coaching the team towards growth, manages and optimizes the innovative climate, stimulating entrepreneurship and driving engagement.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master level (MA, MSc, MD) or PhD or significant industry experience
Proven Expertise in cardiovascular domain
Strong track record : >
10 years in Medical device industry
Passion for clinical science and research, bringing innovations to market
Experience in driving multidisciplinary international teams
Excellent interpersonal relationship capabilities
Excellent ability to interact with customers
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills proven in matrix environment
