LCCI Commercial Analytics Data Steward - Japan This role will be based in the LCCI analytics team and will work closely with Japan Customer Operations (JCO) to maintain high quality data (commercial data) as per data and analytics requirements of Japan business teams.

The Japan Customer Operations (JCO) team is responsible for operations on standard commercial platforms and the Data Stewardship of core data.

They perform operations on core platforms such as Japan data warehouse, sales and marketing reporting platforms, analytics environment, as well as numerous Sales Force Efficiency related applications.

Eli Lilly Japan is engaging with its customers using a multi channel strategy. Multi-Channel engagement team is fully leveraging the JCO managed data and platforms such as the Lilly Mail, KPI reports.

The Data Steward will be responsible for handling requests to support advanced analytics discussion, the Real World Evidence discussion and other priorities at the affiliate level.

This must be done for commercial data Data steward is expected to develop deep relationship with the IT team, business teams and analytics team in Japan and act as an intermediary between the three.

The candidate may be asked to stay onsite in Japan for a certain duration to build the connects and learn the business. The candidate must develop Japanese language proficiency as a part of training / onboarding into this role.

This specific position will have two primary responsibility - 1) The Data Steward Build and exhibit deep expertise on available data sets and supports data enabled decision making using data from external suppliers in Japan and internal data for various other sources in Eli Lilly Japan Provide consultations for efficient mapping of data between systems / database and business needs.

Provide advice to requested functions which data can help their required analytics, strategic decisions, and any other needs Work collaboratively with partner global organizations to get optimal supports to fix issues or implement changes to improve Data platform capability to support strategic transformation agendas in Japan Affiliate 2) Data Operation lead Provide supervision and guide operation team to ensure priority of works and quality of deliverables Execute and monitor operations tasks to ensure timely availability of data to the business Consistently meet operations SLAs Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis to support data and reporting operations Must have skills Preferred degree in sciences or Engineering or Computer Sciences At least 6 years of evolving experience in data management and governance with demonstrated results in understanding, structuring and making sense of unfamiliar and messy datasets Expert in Oracle, PL / SQL, AWS technologies Experience in working with business partners located in another country, especially non-English speaking country like Japan Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work, remotely, across time zones Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills Self-starter / Open & constructive communication / Eager to learn business Ability to work independently and as part of a team Logical thinking, Detail oriented Ability to communicate proactively, effectively and where necessary assertively with IT and business stakeholders Ability to stay for long duration (6 -12 months) onsite in Japan affiliate Preferred Skills More than 2 years worked in Pharma industry, consulting or solution provider for Pharma, or equivalent department Understanding of Pharma commercial or medical data.

Agile project management Prior vendor management Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment Basic level Japanese proficiency
