Role : Regional Sales Head & Business Development

Purpose Responsible for directing all sales and Business Development activities within the Bangalore region and ensuring the company's sales grow year on year;
playing a key role in the region's bottom line
Reporting to Head of India Geo BD
Key Responsibilities :
Devising and implementing the region's sales strategy.
Participating in setting revenue targets for the region and setting key performance indicators for his / her team accordingly.
Working on creating new opportunities in existing account and driving new business in new accounts.
Meeting with the sales leaders monthly to assess company performance against KPI's.
Presenting sales results on a weekly and monthly basis.
Implementing sales strategies and monitoring effectiveness.
Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate.
Overseeing performance management of sales staff.
Working closely with the various department heads to secure large accounts.
Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.
Negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring commerciality.
Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process for the region.
Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department.
Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities within the purview of the region.
Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
