Technology operational resilience
Support review of resiliency and risk landscape against current capabilities to develop and propose areas for improvement.
Develop new, and adapt existing procedures and supporting materials (e.g. checklists) for operational resilience and disaster recovery.
Improve the resilience profile of the most critical customer journeys and applications.
Work with and through the Technology area single points of contact to build and maintain confidence in the delivery capability of Technology in terms of resilient services.
Build maintenance of technology resilience through improved service transition and change processes and procedures.
Core competencies required
Good understanding of technology functions and services, ideally within financial services.
Good knowledge of technology operational resilience within financial services organisations.
Proven track record of supporting technology resilience activities and / or technology service or delivery functions.
Good understanding of the complexities of running reliable services in a complex financial institutions.
To be action oriented and keep a high momentum.
Other knowledge and skills required
Broad understanding of the key technology operational resilience regulatory requirements for financial services, together with an understanding of business processes.
Knowledge and understanding of key technologies across multiple platforms on-premise and public cloud.
Good communication and team working skills, comfortable working with various management levels.
Good inter-personal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective completion of tasks both individually and with other teams.
