It's technology enables customers to conduct payments on any mobile phone without the need to install a single software or app.

Founded by two brothers in 2007, our client has built the world's most usable and universal patented 2-factor authentication solution.

They provide the customers with payment services, along with merchant transactions, bill payment, and cash collection services.

Our client is headquartered in Gurgaon and currently has more than 12 million customers and 5,000 agents for merchant transactions.

They now run one of the largest and the most efficient domestic money transfer services in the country in partnership with banks and also has a Prepaid Payment Instrument license from RBI.

In order to bring in payment services to millions of Indians, the company has partnered with State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank.

Currently, they serve in 80 towns and cities spread over 13 states in India.

As a Product Associate , you will be in-charge of developing a strategy to sell products around payments. This involves planning, creating and assisting in the development, marketing and distribution of a product.

The person is expected to provide a clear plan for the product, outlining goals as well as potential risks, challenges and opportunities.

What you will do :

  • Developing, owning and implementing a strategy from inception to completion of product
  • Working with product, engineering and finance teams to ideate, develop and market the product.
  • Engaging with distribution team and pitch the product to prospective clients
  • Carving out complete financial analysis to model the products cost and potential margin
  • Designing, creating and owning the P&L for lending as a separate vertical
  • Owning P&L for product and idea
  • Completing all documentation from BRD to final roll-out process flow
  • Presenting analysis on covering metrics like product roll-out success rate, failure rate, market behavior on pricing et al
  • Salary : INR 6,00,000 - 14,00,000 P.A.

    Desired Candidate Profile

    What you need to have : Preferred background :

  • Should have worked on Lending and / or card as product manager
  • Strong lending background in MFI / NBFCs or Fintech with a knack for working with concrete data
  • Great understanding of credit / lending / risks in Micro finance Institutions is an add on
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of key drivers / trends and how business works for different geographies
  • Proven record of handing product life cycle till a certain stage if not end-to-end
  • Ability to handle scale of transactions
  • Qualifications :

  • BE / MCA / BCA from Comp. Science is preferred
  • Management graduate from good B school or similar degree with 1-2 years of work experience
  • Strong experience of fintech / logistic products or card as a product
  • Demonstrated competence in use of project management tools
  • Willingness to learn / adapt to technological platforms Eko employs
  • A certified professional degree in credit and analysis will be an added advantage
