The Enterprise Technology Infrastructure (ETI) team within the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure.
About the Role
These positions will be tasked with changing the existing manual reporting and tracking process with a more efficient strategic (Agile) approach.
They will seek out all opportunities for automation and reporting improvements. They will move the team away from the reliance upon email and excel towards products such as JIRA and Tableau.
The TI vulnerability space continues to see a high number of remediation events as well as a significant amount of trackable scope.
The TI vulnerability team is currently tracking 17 distinct remediation efforts, including over 10K individual scope items, with new scope added on a weekly basis.
These 10K items are spread access 350+ TI applications, with over 100 individual "owned by" groups being tracked. In support of these initiatives the TI vulnerability team provides a portfolio view of scopes for the TI CIO's and their individual applications on a weekly basis.
Manage ongoing Vulnerabilities Remediation and maintain vulnerability compliance reporting to policy and standards
Demonstrated experience providing thought leadership within the vulnerability management & emergency patching space
Lead initiatives based on metrics data that drive vulnerability remediation efforts
Resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
Prepares specifications for system changes
Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Manage incoming group mail box
Research, assign and follow up on each request until completion
Monitor, assist and update iTracker and administrative tools
Understands "How to" use and explain tools used to indicate remediation status, walk through training provided
Analyze data in tools for follow up, notify application managers of upcoming deadlines
Assist in locating game plans
May notify application managers of upcoming deadlines
Assist QVRU team with additional assistance in administrative tools
Assist with access requests
Assist in locating game plans
May facilitate meetings with SME's
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application or a related discipline.
Significantly strong user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Competent in SharePoint 2013 as an end-user and particularly comfortable with opening / editing / saving files to / from SharePoint.
Critical thinking skills - asks probing questions instead of just accepting a generic / vague answer, looks for the "why".
Should be an Effective communication.
Should be able to escalate right things to right person in a timely manner.
Should have Excellent analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills.
Willing to work in shifts (24x7 models), Flexible working hours.
