The integrity operations team at TikTok ensures that our community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content, while protecting our brand.

By ensuring the accurate execution and local adaptation of our global rules, incentives, and other behavioral modifiers, this team acts as a bridge between local cross-functional teams and the global safety teams.

As the Head of Trust & Safety for India you will be responsible for managing the processes, teams and playbook that impacts what content is shown to whom, where, and when.

This senior role must balance internal operational realities with external policy pressures, enhance operational teams and culture, while communicating complex ideas to management and creating internal alignment.

Responsibilities : - In-depth collaboration with Global Public Policy, Product, Operations, Legal, and Communication teams to identify key risks, emergencies and potential challenges for TikTok in Asia, drive strategic projects addressing those topics and see through the implementation to ensure content and community safety.

  • Establish, manage and interpret global content policy with a focus on Asia based on a thorough understanding of local culture and values as well as community on our platforms.
  • Quantitatively and qualitatively assess and analyze complicated scenarios, coordinate closely with product team and deliver product strategies and solutions to promote community well-being.
  • Develop and enhance safety awareness and communicate our community & content policies in collaboration with Public Policy and Communication teams to law enforcement authorities, media and other concerned parties.
  • Build and lead a multi-functional and high-performing strategy team, manage cross-team relations and optimize business procedures to deliver high quality results.
  • QualificationsRequirements : - 15+ years overall experience and 10+ years in Trust & Safety or content management.- Experience in a leadership position in a top technology firm or equivalent with a strategic mindset, agility in responding and strong judgment.

  • Extensive team management experience with both senior and mid-level teams. - Significant experience interfacing with operations, public policy, legal teams and product.
  • Highly data-sensitive, capable of in-depth data interpretation and insights extraction. Preferred qualifications : - Direct experience crafting internal content policies or developing safety features / products.
  • Experience leading crisis management. - Eager to shape a new space within a rapidly growing and changing tech company.
  • Respect for other cultures and deep empathy for users. - Experience growing teams from scratch.
