Required Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience on programming languages like Java / Python / Scala
  • Very strong experience on development and support of Kafka integrations, including topics, producers, consumers and streaming applications
  • Practical experience with how to scale Kafka, KStreams, and Connector infrastructures, with the motivation to build efficient platforms
  • Strong hands-on work experience on Big Data Integration and Analytics based on Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm and web Methods
  • Strong hands-on expertise in debugging and fixing streaming jobs by looking debug logs and configuration tuning
  • Good hands-on work experience on file formats such as Avro, JSON and Parquet
  • Hands-on experience in full automated testing framework (unit and integration)
  • Knowledge on Elastic search to identify the Kafka message failure scenarios
  • Operational management of the Kafka platform
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience on Java
  • Hands on experience on SQL
  • Hands-on experience on using PAAS like Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Hands-on experience on using containers (PaaS)
  • Hands-on experience on working on CICD platform and monitoring - namely Github, Jenkins
  • Experience and working exposure in cloud environment
  • Knowledge on how to productionalize Machine learning and Data science modules
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals
