VMware Commerce & Finance Engineering Group

  • VMware’sCommerce &Financeengineeringgroup supports VMware Finance function with platforms and systems capabilities. We are transforming our software delivery practices to bring in greater agility.
  • We also use mobile and IoT technologies to deliver new digital experiences for employees, customers, and partners.

  • You will team up with a geographically distributed team of Engineers, Product Managers, QE, and DevOps staff in Bangalore, Palo Alto, Cork, and Costa Rica.
  • You will bring your technical experience in workday applications development and drive the adoption of standard methodologies as we build a scalable platform for HR and Finance requirements.

  • Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs related to Commissions
  • Design, configure, and partner with the project team to develop, test, and deploy solutions, including integrations and reporting
  • Approach problems with a data driven mindset,Research & resolve data discrepanciesusingSQL queries
  • Drive application development & testing within ICM systems
  • Support integrated testing strategies & coordinate testing efforts with end-users
  • Work with the geographically distributed team comprised of Architects, Functional SMEs, and Quality Assurance Engineers
  • Be willing to learn aboutotherupstreamplatforms(datafeedingsystems)as well as newsolutionsin this domain
  • Present solutions& provide sprint demostotarget customer, process owners,management &relevant stakeholders
  • Desired Skills / Experience

  • 4-year degree (minimum) in Information Systems or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-4 years of Callidus development experience including usage of Rules, Plans, Formulae, Territories, Look-up tables, Participants, Positions, Titles, and pipeline execution
  • Strong understanding of the Incentive Compensation process
  • Should have understanding in Developing SAP Commissions rules and enhance rules for accurate crediting
  • Experience integratingHRMS (Workday) &ERP systems (Preferably Oracle EBS) to ICM Systems
  • Authoring& reviewingQA and UAT test scripts
  • Ability to work effectively under time-critical deadlines and handle competing priorities
  • Identify cumbersome, manual, and Drive business process improvements
  • Organizational skills, high attention to detail, and superior time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Nice to Have Experience

  • Exposure toSmart Data IntegratorIntegrator (SDI)
  • Knowledge or hand-on practice of Callidus Workflows
  • Experience in developing and maintaining consumer-facing web or mobile applications
  • HANA / BI experience in reporting space
