What You'll Do
As a highly charged infrastructure development team member you will be responsible to :
Innovate, architect, design and deliver product-level test strategies and automation for SP family of routers.
Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to Test coverage, execution and automation.
Execution, Development and maintenance of scripts for test automation.
Design and develop state of the art web tools and infrastructure to support test execution environment. Develop the test execution framework for script execution.
Develop Web based GUIs to use analytics and Machine learning to intelligently display and analyze execution results.
Collaborate with teams across geographies in 3 continents.
Who You Are :
10+ years Hands on experience with testing of Next Generation Multi Rack Routing platforms
In depth System level testing experience cutting across Distributed Modules consisting of Route Processors, Terabit Line Cards and Multi-
Terabit Fabric Architectures.
Is self driven and has ability to debug complicated system-level issues, reproduction and debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries and treating customer need as top priority in everything we do.
10+ Experience with Layer 2 / L3 Networking protocols such as STP, MSTP, VLANS, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, RIB, RIP, ICMP, ARP, ISIS and as demonstrated component level ownership in one or more of the above areas.
Working experience with forwarding / Fabric ASICs of Cisco or other networking vendors.
Should be proficient in OOPS concepts
Test Experience working with SBI / NBI Protocols like OpenFlow, Netconf & REST API
Extremely Strong background in Python or GO with good knowledge of programming on Linux OS.
Displayed technical leadership within the team by driving innovations.
5+ years working experience in automation of Python based library and test cases.
Exposure to Web Automation technologies (Angular, Java, HTML, CSS) and DB Management.
Overview and exposure on Big Data Analytics, Data Mining and Machine learning
Conceptual understanding of Virtualization technologies such as SDN, NFV, etc
Exposure to Traffic generator test tools such IXIA or Spirent.
Excellent multi-tasking, written & verbal communication, and organizational skills.
Must be a team player, results oriented and have a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility.
BS / MS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline such as EE / CS / ET.
Other desired skills :
Cisco Networking certificates such as CCIE, CCNP, etc.
Strong test experience in NFV, Cloud, SDN Technologies, Open source Controllers like OpenDaylight
Test Experience working with Linux OS, Hypervisors like KVM / QEMU, Vmware, XEN
Exposure to testing White box switches or Open vSwitch
