About the role - you will :
Be responsible for supporting customer on-boarding, training and customer data management in a key Data Steward / Analyst position.
Facilitate electronic business with direct and indirect customers including OEMs, Distributors, B&M Retailers and Resellers as well interact with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance and pricing organizations.
Be Responsible be include planning, implementation and executing projects and processes that support the Sales, Finance and Marketing organizations, Customer Service and Go-To-Market functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to tools and processes associated with Sales, Finance, Marketing and IT organizations
Direct customer 1 : 1 and webinar training with partners to support electronic business transactions and utilize Seagate portal tools and processes including submission of data to third-party vendors
Find and implement solutions to improve Seagate's business outcomes by creating efficiencies within both process and tool suites for demand / supply planning processes, master data management (MDM), and Customer / Channel Data Management (CDM)
Manage development and implementation process of services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects and enhancements to managing and cleansing data
About you :
Have a critical understanding of product and customer master hierarchies as well as be an advocate of corporate data governance and scalability
Promote and lead data-driven decision making and solutions
Maintain, create and improve metric definitions and develop Key Performance Indicators for data timeliness, completeness, and accuracy among others
Be able to utilize systems thinking and automation skills to develop and maintain reporting and analytics for Seagate’s go-to-market function
Have the ability and skills needed to communicate complex data sets into visual information for management
Be able to tell a story using data and analytics
Your experience includes :
Model N experience and expertise (Pricing, Rebates, CDM)
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) data electronic business experience
Customer Data Management and Channel Data Management and Master Data Management Experience
Systems thinking and experience in both systems and process improvement
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large quantities of data
SQL experience and ability to craft / manage queries of large data sets
Experience working with other CDM vendor solutions such as those offered by Zyme, E2Open, Entomo, or Model N
Solid knowledge of PLM and product launch cycles
Oracle 11i or R12 and SAS experience and Customer Data Hub Experience (CDH)
SAP , Business Objects ,Tableau or Alteryx experience
