Job Summary :
Provides analytical and business intelligence support to the Customer Experience Engineering Team. Analyzes, interprets, maintains and reports data.
Serves as the business unit data steward, establishing validation and testing protocols to maintain the integrity of the data.
Delivers ad-hoc data and report requests for the Customer Experience Engineering Team. Develops, runs and prepares various statistical analyses and reports based on both internal and external data sources.
Utilizes various software packages and tools for collecting, mining, interpreting and reporting data. May be responsible for granting and terminating system access to data.
Principal Accountability :
Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals
Elicits and documents business requirements to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends and insights that improve business performance
Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis
Proactively analyzes trends, causes and variances
Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities
Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed
Develops database logic to extract required information for reporting Creates and distributes both routine and complex ad-hoc reports
Key Responsibilities :
Analyzes data, formulates conclusions and provides summary analysis for leadership
Monitors trends and elevates issues due to data variances
Engages end user to determine information requirements Interfaces with customers to set expectations regarding report availability and SLAs
Monitors report and data availabilities and proactively communicates with customers on delayed reports / data sets
Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on business matters Implements work plans and schedules as assigned Completes tasks and assignments under normal supervision
Applies a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights to prospects and customers based on large-scale data
Works under limited supervision with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals
Creates procedures while performs end-to-end key steps involved in model development
Executes preliminary data exploration, data preparation steps and variable / algorithm selection as well as model development / validation and scoring
With guidance, develop and test algorithms' efficacy for differing analytical use-cases
Delivers results and presentations in a timely manner
Leads interactions with external customers to gather project requirements, provide status updates and share analytical insights
Likely presenting project output to external customers, with limited assistance in presentation preparation

Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience;
