To be able to build / modify FE model, Model setup, Debug and Solve Full run Crash calculation as per regulation and NCAP requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Create and validate the FEA model.
Debug and Solve CAE calculations of Full vehicle automotive system / Sub system.
Deliver analysis results to the reporting engineer
Creating the best practice methods.
Key Tasks :
Verify input data
Generate or Modify FE model, model setup as per the standards
Analysis Model setup - Load and boundary conditions.
Debug the input file.
Check results for correctness.
Post processing of FEA results.
Carryout Peer review for model checking
Define the timeframe and schedule for the project
Essential skills :
Good knowledge of automotive modeling.
Good Knowledge of Model building using Hypermesh..
Knowledge of Non- linear analysis using Explicit solver (PAMCRASH or LS- DYNA Mandatory)
Knowledge about typical Finite Elements.
Knowledge in FE model Quality criteria
Desirable skills :
Knowledge in Automotive Systems / Vehicle Structure
Knowledge in building FE without CAD
Knowledge in modifying the FE mesh for alternative design
Basic knowledge of Safety regulations & NCAP
Software skills required for the job :
Hypermesh, PAMCRASH or LS- DYNA
