Job Summary :
The GTB Middle Officer analyst (GTB MO) is the center point of contact for
The client for daily contact and first point of escalation
The Front Office Relationship Manager
The Internal Operations stakeholders on many wide ranging issues and queries
Other GTB team members, if required
GTB MO foster a close relationship with Societe Generale clients in order to understand their requirements and expectations and pro-actively identify potential business and issue / query reduction opportunities

Front Office with the relationship on boarding process as applicable per the validated grid on ownership, particularly documentation formalities validation and client data management
Is in charge of the account lifecycle management queries, from account opening, maintenance to closure
Is able to independently process the account opening and maintenance of client data accurately, processing Trade related transactions and in a timely manner, Key client mandates in coordination with IT, Operations and the Client for GTB business
Ensure delivery of satisfactory service level to clients in terms of accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure full compliance with the internal policies & external regulations governing the responsibilities assigned.
Work closely with Trade Finance Front office to anticipate and manage transaction volumes in co-ordination with middle office head.
Contribute to various process improvement and other projects as allocated.
Identification of risks and potential customer complaints and escalation to the MO Head
Daily monitoring of reports and updating management with exceptions / operational risk / operational loss.
Support MO head in handling all audit related queries, both internal, external, regulators and ensure implementation of recommendations.
Liaise with back office and ensure day-to-day transactions are processed as per agreed SLA / TATs.
Multitasking of activities and volunteer to take over additional tasks as allocated by MO head from time to time.
GTB MO is in charge of the operational controls on the non-electronic client instructions before to forward these instructions to the Back-Office for capture and processing in the systems.
GTB MO is also required to delivers specific daily, weekly and monthly client statements.
Completion of day to day transactions and timely escalations in case of any issues.
The main transactions being :
2. Client on-boarding / Client and Account Management
Upload of necessary Documentation including client signatories / Power of Attorney & call back uploading in relevant IT systems Updation of client information in relevant systems
Setup of the client for Cash Management and E-Banking implementation as per the contract terms and conditions
Control quality of account opening document, incl AML screening of the signatories
Monitoring by conducting a periodic review of the clients and accounts and Archiving of dormant account : Client servicing - statements (periodic client reporting)
Highlight issues faced by CMS clients or Internal teams to the Supervisor and suggest solutions or work arounds on a case to case basis
Participate in Implementation of new products and enhance existing product offering as required from time to time
Preparation of Requirement documents & review and finalization of Functional documents
Preparation of UAT cases and related UAT testing
Ensure that the products as required by the clients are delivered efficiently and in a timely manner.

Face of the client & point of contact on the queries related to PCM products on account balances, status of the payments & issues faced any
Fixed deposit / Loans (Short term
Academic Background :
BCOM, CAIIB, MBA or equivalent (Optional), CDCS (Preferable) with technical background like BE / BTech or certification from NIIT / Aptech / CDAC etc.
Relevant Working Experience in number of years :
4 - 6 Years’ experience in Transactional Banking
5 + years of trade finance operations experience
Skills & Competencies required :
Knowledge of Short-Term products, Cash Management & Client account operations including Forex remittances (non-trade related)
Sound understanding of Trade Finance products and operations
Knowledge of local regulations like FEMA and RBI regulations
Knowledge of UCP 600, URDG 758, URC 522
Good communication skills (written & spoken)
Client management expertise
Solution driven attitude
Strong interpersonal skills
Language Skills : English & Hindi
Computer Skill : MS Office, Knowledge of Finacle / IT Background, preferable
